GO Lithium 16 Volt GEN 2 Ultralight Battery
The Ultimate Racing Battery Has Arrived !!
16V ONE X Battery - 3800 Cranking!
THE ULTIMATE RACING BATTERY HAS ARRIVED !
Go Lithium is once again turning the racing battery market on it head with our new GO Lithium ONE...
The anvil reliable GO Lithium Prismatic Lithium Cells have been in many forms of racing and tested to an unprecedented 150G. We love winning, but would never sacrifice safety in the pursuit of glory.
Rather than using our existing battery design we started once again from a clean slate and have produced a truly next generation lithium racing battery. One that is specifically designed for racing. This isn't a battery that was made for another use that can also be applied to racing...The GO Lithium ONE is ONLY for racing!
So whether you are Drag,Circle Track, Boat or Road Course Racing, with the GO Lithium ONE you will be making the same voltage AND horsepower from the green flag to victory circle. Racing with a hotter, more consistent ignition spark. The largest reserves and longest run times of any racing battery and more cranking than ever offered.
The GO Lithium ONE also incorporates a digital battery management suite . This ensures that the battery never goes dead, discharges and charges its prismatic cells equally and provides years of uninterrupted service.

Has it been tested?
The GO Lithium battery has undergone 7 years of research, development, and testing.
One test that all automotive batteries are subjected to is the CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) Test. This is a Pass/Fail Test done to verify the CCA rating. To conduct a pass/fail test, they load the fully charged battery with half of its claimed CCA and crank ONCE for 15 seconds. The voltage must stay above 9.6 during the 15 seconds of cranking for the battery to pass.
The GO Lithium Team did this same test with the new GO Lithium Prismatic cells, except they pulled FULL rated cranking for the 15 seconds. They waited one second and did it again. They repeated the 15 second cranking with 1 second pause 60 times before using the reserve power in the cell. The battery was slightly warm to the touch but it melted the shielding on the battery cables. GO Lithium’s Battery produced full rated and consistent power during the entire test and never slowed its cranking speed. Actually the cranking speed sped up as the battery temperature increased slightly. -
We went one step further and did Real World Dyno Testing
We don't just make bold claims...WE PROVE THEM!

After powering up all of the electronic equipment and running the MSD Ignition at a simulated 9500rpm we pulled the car in this state for a full 5 minutes. -
Starting Voltage - 16.9(balanced full charge)
-
Ending Voltage After 5 Minute Pull - 14.8
-
Recharge Time after Dyno Run - 25 Minutes
Track testing with same car
-
Starting Voltage - 16.9(balanced full charge)
-
Ending Voltage After Run - 15.3
-
Recharge Time after Run - 20 Minutes
To say the GO Lithium battery passed these tests would be an understatement..It absolutely crushed them ! -
How does GO Lithium’s battery compare to a standard Racing Lead Acid Battery?
Let’s consider for a second that lead acid batteries were invented in 1859. While advances have occurred, it is still based on 150-year-old technology. When we look around in the world we live in, lithium batteries power our advanced technology. Just because it’s newer doesn’t necessarily make it better automatically, but there are several reasons that make the GO Lithium Battery a better choice.
Lead acid batteries are subject to voltage sag. Any racer can relate to a battery cranking quickly at first and then slowing down until it no longer has the power to crank. This is voltage sag and it starts from the moment a lead acid battery is first used. Voltage sag does not occur with lithium batteries.
Lithium allows more power to be stored in a smaller area. GO Lithium’s Battery is ultra lightweight. At only 8 pounds, no lead acid battery even comes close.
-
But is it safe? Don’t lithium batteries explode?
The GO Lithium Battery is safe and was specifically designed for racing applications. To test, a Lithium cell is subjected to a puncture test in which a steel rod is driven through the cell. GO Lithium Cells passed this test without any explosion or fire. This can be an issue with other types of lithium batteries.
-
How long does the GO Lithium battery last?
The life expectancy of the GO Lithium Battery is gauged by depth of discharge. Meaning, if a team used 90% of its reserve power it will last for 2000 charge cycles. In reality, when used in a race car running a 6al or HEI ignition, the depth of discharge will be under 50% resulting in a much longer life span. The average team can expect the GO Lithium Battery to last for approximately 10 years.
-
Can I use my Go Lithium Battery with an alternator?
Yes. If you have a 16 volt alternator equipped vehicle this will pose no problems with our battery.
*Alternator output should be regulated @ 17.75 volts and 100 amps.
-
Do I need to buy a special charger or can I use my existing battery charger?
While a standard battery charger could be used with some effectiveness, this most likely will damage the lithium cells. Using the GO Lithium Battery Charger is strongly recommended. It is designed specifically to charge the Lithium Prismatic Cells.
-
Is there a Warranty?
Yes, All GO Lithium Batteries come with a Full 1 Year Replacement and Three year Prorated Warranty for any manufacture defects.
*If damaged by user, discounted repairs/rebuilds for LIFE of product*
